This is Noni’s personal stool. I don’t know what we’d do without it. Noni went from tugging on my pant leg and whining, tantruming and altogether protesting my washing dishes, cooking, mail sorting or anything else not at her eye level to being Mommy’s biggest helper EVER in two "steps" flat. She loves being able to see what’s going on up there. She can reach the sink and fill up water cups. She can steal samples while watching me prep dinner. She picks through the junk mail to find her special letters. The phrase "UP MAMA" has happily been replaced with "move stool mama". This "must have" toddler item is from Target .com at ~ $25.

Love Noni’s wardrobe? Me too! If it’s not a hand-me-down (which is usually Old Navy) then it's new from Old Navy. First off, the silly toddles grow too fast to be in anything for more than a few months. Secondly, rarely does an outfit make it through the day without at least a few good stains. Thirdly with the amount of scooting around on the floor that these so called "upright" little people do, it is a wonder that there are knee or elbow coverings left at all on these clothes. Bottom Line: We like ‘em cute and we like ‘em cheep – ‘cause they sure go through ‘em fast. I’ve bought a few expensive special occasion outfit that were worn ONCE. I say why not get a handful of cute outfits for the same price and look darn cute everyday – and pass it on as a great hand-me-down to-boot. (Fun "to-boot" side note: I tell Noni that she is a "mess butt , toddle bum, bean pot to-boot!" and she always says "hmm No". "No what Noni?" "Ta-but, no." "Ok, Noni is a mess butt, toddle bum, bean pot – NOT to–boot". She smiles and nods in agreement.) And not only does Old Navy introduce their latest trend at extremely reasonable prices, but BOY do they know how to have a SALE.

Thanks Old Navy! Love your style!
